Tranexamic acid is an active ingredient new to the cosmetics sector which treats and prevents skin hyperpigmentation. It acts in inflammatory processes that also involve the production of melanin, the pigment that colours the skin.

By reducing melanin synthesis, tranexamic acid acts as a depigmenting agent, preventing new melanin formation in hyperpigmented areas.

It is present in DSP-Bright ampoules, Eye Correct Day and Eye Correct Night and Arnika Gel Cream SPF 30.
