COOKIES POLICY

Cookies Policy

The User is hereby informed that this website uses cookies.
1.- Information
Cookies are small text files that are installed on the User's computer browser to record his/her activity, sending out an anonymous identifier that is stored on their computer to make browsing easier. For example, they let previously registered Users access a website, giving them access to restricted areas, services, promotions or competitions without the User having to register each time they visit. They can also be used to measure visitor numbers, web traffic and browsing parameters, login time and/or to control visitor progress and numbers.
This website installs session and persistent cookies, including both its own and those of third parties. Session cookies are automatically erased when the browser is closed, while persistent cookies remain installed on a User's computer for a certain length of time. Own cookies are installed by MARTIDERM, whereas third party cookies are installed by service suppliers engaged for this purpose.
MARTIDERM will try, at all times, to establish suitable procedures for obtaining the User's consent when installing cookies that require it. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the User must remember that, in accordance with the Law, it will be understood that (i) the User has given their consent should their browser's configuration be modified, deactivating restrictions that prevent the acceptance of cookies and (ii) that the aforementioned consent shall not be required when installing cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the User (via prior registration).
2.- Types of cookies used on the MARTIDERM website
2.1. Technical cookies
Technical cookies are essential for the correct functioning of the website, for example, they are needed to authenticate or maintain a registered user's session on the website. Disabling these cookies could prevent some features of the website from functioning properly.
2.2. Analytical cookies
Analytical cookies gather statistics about a User's activity and their use of the website. The collected information optimises browsing and guarantees that the User is offered the best service possible. Furthermore, they provide information about the number of pages visited, the browser used, the frequency or recurrence of visits, selected language, and so on. The User can, at any time, exclude their activity by using the exclusion system provided by the analytical tools or via their browser configuration.
2.3. Social network cookies
Specific application buttons have been incorporated to make it simpler for the User to share website content on various social networks. These buttons link to social network websites that may install cookies that, as they are not controlled by MARTIDERM, could be used to log in to the User's account on the social network, maintain this session, or display how many times specific content has been shared across each social network. We recommend that Users regularly check the privacy policies and cookies of each social network and, where applicable, modify the privacy parameters of each of these in order to restrict potential tracking activity and to adapt these parameters to protect their own interests.
3.- Configuring cookies
The User can configure their browser so that they are notified when cookies are received to prevent them from being installed on their computer. However, disabling cookies may affect how the website functions. Please read your browser's instructions and manuals for further information.
In addition, depending on the browser being used, the User may activate any of the following options to restrict the scope of any installed cookies or their functioning:
- private browsing: your browser stops saving your browsing history, website passwords, cookies and other information from the websites you visit, or;
- do not track feature: the browser asks visited websites to not track your browsing habits for the purpose of sending you targeted publicity on future websites you visit.
It is possible that some cookies used on this website are not associated with MARTIDERM. This is because some pages on the website contain content from third party websites (YouTube videos, for example). Due to the fact that this content comes from another website, MARTIDERM does not control the configuration of these cookies. If you wish to change your cookies configuration preferences, please check the websites of these third parties for further information.
If you would like to have tighter control over the installation of cookies, you can install programmes or browser extensions, known as "Do Not Track" tools, that allow you to select the cookies that you would like to permit.
Finally, you are hereby informed that you may, at any time, revoke your consent to MARTIDERM's use of cookies by configuring your browser as described above.
